Edgar "Ed" Harold Fuller Jr

Edgar "Ed" Harold Fuller Jr., 89 of Zanesville passed at 12:23 P.M. Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living.

He was born on Monday, May 1, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Edgar H. Fuller Sr. and Faye Lillian Achauer Fuller.

Ed was a member of First Christian Church and a lifetime member of ZARKS airplane club. He graduated from Lash High School in 1951. Ed retired from Newark Air force Base where he repaired guidance systems for missiles. He flew RC Model airplanes starting at a young age. He won his first trophy in Junior High and continued to fly them until 2019 when his dementia became worse and he moved into Brookdale Assisted Living. Ed was a wonderful, Father, Grandfather, Husband and caregiver.

He is survived by his three children, Molly (Jeffrey) Ross, Michael J. Fuller and Martin (Martine) Fuller; five grandchildren, Dylan (Stacey) Ross, Spencer (Kandice) Ross, Mack Fuller, Mitchell Fuller and Jessica Fuller; a great grandchild, Walton Ross; six step-great grandchildren, Graham Leighton, Collin Leighton, Reid Leighton, Ari Lu, Avery Lu and Kina Lu; a sister, Judy Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Edgar was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Mae "Ginny" White Fuller; a son, Mark Fuller; and a sister Kathryn Rush.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park.
