Hazel Maxine Cornell

Hazel Maxine Cornell, 94, of Zanesville passed at 4:15 A.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Adams Lane Care Center.

She was born on Monday, October 29, 1928 in Calais, Ohio the daughter of the late Howard Powell and Mildred Farnsworth Powell.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Kay (Mike) Beisser, Susan Cornell and Cathy (Jeff) Roach; three grandchildren, Howard (Katrina) Cornell, Erin (Joe) Kennedy and Sabrina (Eric) Hickman; six great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a aunt, Lou Markley; special nieces, Linda Weaver and Donna Kuhn; and many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Cornell; ten siblings, Darlene Powell, Bertha Nelson, Leo Powell, Stanley Powell, Larry Powell, Marcella Briggs, Lod Powell, Joseph Powell, Hugh "Lonnie" Powell, Denver Powell and Ted Burghy; and two grandchildren, Troy Beisser and Toby Beisser.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Burial will conclude at Zanesville Memorial Park.
