Helen Lea O'Neil

Helen Lea O'Neil, 90, of Zanesville passed at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

She was born on Monday, July 22, 1929 in Stockport, Ohio the daughter of the late John Leslie O'Neal and Laura Ellis O’Neal.

Helen worked at Essex Wire for twelve years and volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital.

She is survived by fourteen nieces and nephews; her dog Missy; and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O'Neil; a daughter, Linda O'Neil; a son, William O'Neil; and her four siblings.

Per Helen’s wishes, no services will be held and a cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions can be made in Helen’s name to the Animal Shelter Society, 1430 Newark Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701.
