Kay Diane “Dee Dee” LoVallo, 74, of Zanesville passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Genesis Morrison House.  She fought a long, courageous battle with COPD. 

She was born February 12, 1945 in Lubbock, Texas the daughter of Raymond “Bud” Arnold and Virginia (Bryan) Arnold. Dee Dee had a passion for caring for others and worked as a nurse for 40 years, and also taught nursing classes.  She enjoyed taking care of others even after retirement.  She enjoyed being with her family and loved lunch adventures with her friends. She was an avid Ohio State and Dallas Cowboys fan.  She enjoyed spicy food, margaritas, and social media.  She had an infectious laugh and will be missed by all who knew her. 

Dee Dee is survived by her children; Jessica (Mike) Bennett, Nicholas (Ashley) LoVallo, Noah (Kristen Nash) LoVallo, and Chris LoVallo; her grandchildren Presten and Jayleen Bennett, Laikyn and Damien LoVallo, Crysdeona and Braydon LoVallo, and Ava LoVallo; her sisters, Mary (Jeff) Hall, Amy (Terry) Mesre, and Joanna (John) Arnold, as well as many nieces and nephews and special friends. 
Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Linda (Arnold) Brown. 

The family would also like to extend their gratitude toward the staff at the Morrison House for their exceptional care and support as well as Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home for excellent service. 

Family will receive friends to celebrate her life on Thursday, October 10, 2019, from 5-7 pm at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave.
