Mark Edwin Bechtold Sr.

Mark Edwin Bechtold Sr., 67 of Zanesville died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his residence from natural causes.

He was born July 14, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio and served his country proudly as a sharpshooter and received the National Defense Medal in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Mark enjoyed motorcycles and supporting his fellow Veterans. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family!

He is survived by his mother, Ann Searles; children, Mark Bechtold Jr., Kristina Froman, Jakob Bechtold and Holli Bechtold; Grandchildren, Naome, Hailee, Chloe, Kacey, Madisyn and Serenity.

Visitation will be held 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service and burial with military honors will be held at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville OH.
