Nancy Lu Wright

Nancy Lu Wright, 80, of Zanesville passed away at 12:45 P.M. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus.

She was born on Saturday, April 30, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of John Wilbur and Lucille Sturtz Taylor.

She was a church deacon and founding member at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, she also volunteered at the American Red Cross Blood Bank. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband C. James Wright of 61 joyous years of marriage, a daughter Lisa (Jeff) Bates; a son Pat (Lisa) Wright; brother John (Linda) Taylor; sister-in-law Georgia (Larry) Bauserman; grandchildren Kayla Wright, Jessica (Colton) Evans, Alyssa (Bobby Ross) Bates, and Brandon (Abbey) Bates; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kendall Evans, Beau Ross, Cohen and Dylan Bates; nieces and nephews, Tim and Jeff Bauserman, Jeff Taylor and Meredith Burris.

In addition to her Parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Orville James and Bernice Mae (Davis) Wright, and an infant granddaughter, Krista Wright.

Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. James Schumacher officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Military Rd.
